On Wednesday 2nd November, Devon Waste Education visited Bishops Nympton Primary School. The class 1 children took part in a minibeast and compost workshop linked to our learning about local animals and autumn to winter. The children found out what a compost was, investigated what foods could be composted, and which minibeasts liked to live and eat in the compost bin. The children then pretended to minibeasts through a PE session, then munch their compost food. It was so much and then children enjoyed making different minibeasts shapes, moving like minibeasts and pretending to munch food. Great teamwork too! Can you guess which minibeasts we are from the photos?
