Class 1 visit to Rosemoor

Class 1 had a fantastic visit to Rosemoor to find the signs of autumn and explore the changing seasons. The children had an amazing time taking part in a scavenger hunt around the garden, finding out about the different plants and noticing how they look now compared to the summer with the help of the Rosemoor staff. Next we went exploring to find leaves of different colours and sizes and shapes to make a natural rainbow crown before finishing our session planting peas. We even had chance to explore the woods and some of the rest of the garden in the afternoon, finding even more season changes, including a double rainbow after a downpour! We managed to stay mostly dry and the children were amazingly behaved, listening well, asking great questions and sharing their ideas. Thank you to all of them for being so wonderful and helping make it such a lovely day!
